Queer Napa: Gentleman Farmer Bungalow Is a Place Where All Are Welcome

David Landis known as The Gay Gourmet and writing for the SF Bay Times spotlights Gentleman Farmer Wines as part of Napa Valley’s growing and vibrant queer community. Co-owners Jeff Durham and Joey Wolosz are featured among the LGBTQ+ business owners helping shape the culture and character of the region.

The piece highlights The Gentleman Farmer Bungalow in downtown Napa a reimagined Craftsman home built around a demonstration kitchen and described as a “studio for gustatory well-being.” Jeff and Joey put it simply: “Think Julia Child is Joey’s aunt, and the Royal Tenenbaums are Jeff’s cousins.”

A gay California flag flies out front every day a signal, as Jeff shares, that “all are welcome.” Guests regularly stop in after spotting the flag, drawn by the open-door spirit that defines everything about the Bungalow.
