Several new tasting options have opened in Napa Valles, particularly in downtown Napa where wineries are launching satellite tasting rooms, standing out from the crowd, and trying new approaches. Here are some highlights.

Vinners Joe Wolosz and Jeff Durham had extensive culinary and hospitality experience before starting their label in 2005. They recently opened the Bungalow in downtown Nape to feature and sell their food-friendly wines in a unique way. Wolosz and Durham personally serve a multicourse breakfast, lunch or dinner inspired by family recipes and prepared in their open kitchen. For the space, they fastidiously an old law office with fixtures and furniture that they grew up with. even using a grandmother’s gold cutlery. “At the Studio for Gustatory Well-Being”, guests can show their activity as well. Customers can play music via a piano, bongos or accordion. If painting or drawing is your medium, they have watercolors and charcoals.
